And a tidbit of information to help counter winter colds/flu as well as dry skin:

What you need:

A natural bristle, long-handled bath brush
Spray or squirt bottle w/bath oil

Before you step into the shower, give yourself a good brushing, focusing on stroking towards the heart. Lymph vessels, which are a major part of our immunse defense system, run close to the surface, along with nerves and veins. You don't have to brush deep, but don't be timid!

Next, step into the shower. You'll notice your skin tingles - that's good! The dry brushing not only helps circulate lymph, it also stimulates your nervous system, helps with circulation, and gets rid of dry, dead skin cells. Go ahead and shower as usual.

Before stepping out of the shower, IF you're brave enough, reduce your hot water/increase your cold water in small increments, letting the shower head focus on your spine, from the base of your neck to your tail bone. Keep reducing the temperature until you pretty much can't stand it, and then go a little extra.

Before you towel off, spritz the bath oil on, THEN dry yourself. You'll be amazed at how good your skin looks and feels, plus you've just taken another precaution to stay healthy!

A wheel has spokes,
but it rotates around a hollow center.

A pot is made out of clay or glass,
but you keep things in the space inside.

A house is made of wood or brick,
but you live between the walls.

We work with something,
but we use nothing.
